Built-in oven repair that's worth doing
Built-in ovens are fitted in most Dubai kitchens, and they're worth repairing. Heating elements, fan motors, thermostats and door hinges wear out, but the oven body usually lasts many years.
Our technicians repair single and double built-in ovens, gas ovens, steam and combi-steam ovens, and pyrolytic self-cleaning ovens. We measure element resistance and check thermostat accuracy with a probe thermometer before replacing parts.
On gas ovens we check the ignition, the thermocouple and the flame safety device, and test for leaks after every repair.

Oven care tips
- Wipe spills once the oven has cooled, before they bake on.
- Don't line the oven floor with foil. It traps heat and can damage the bottom element.
- Check the door seal now and then. A gap lets heat escape and stresses the elements.
- Run the pyrolytic cleaning cycle only when needed. It's hard on parts.
- Close the door gently. Slamming wears the hinges and can crack the inner glass.
Oven Repair FAQs
Why is my oven not heating?
The most common causes are a burnt-out element, a faulty thermostat or selector switch, or a tripped thermal cut-out. We test each part before quoting.
Should I repair or replace a built-in oven?
Repair is usually the better choice. Elements, fans and thermostats cost far less than a new built-in oven, and replacing an oven can also mean changing the cabinet cut-out.
My oven trips the electricity. Is it safe?
No. Stop using it and switch it off at the isolator. It usually means an element has shorted to earth. We'll find and replace the faulty part.
Can you replace broken oven door glass?
Yes, for most models. We source the correct glass for your oven's model number.
Do you repair steam ovens?
Yes, including water tank, pump, steam generator and descaling faults.
