Dishwasher repair for hard Dubai water
Dishwashers in Dubai deal with very hard water. Without regular salt and rinse aid, scale coats the heater and spray arms and the water softener stops doing its job. Food left in the filter does the rest.

Before you call, check the filter at the bottom of the tub and make sure the sink drain isn't blocked. Between them they cause a large share of the 'not draining' calls we get.

Keep your dishwasher working well
- Keep the salt compartment topped up and set the softener for Dubai's hard water.
- Use rinse aid. It helps drying and stops spotting on glasses.
- Take out and rinse the filter once a week.
- Scrape food off plates, but there's no need to pre-rinse them.
- Run an empty hot cycle with dishwasher cleaner once a month.
Dishwasher Repair FAQs
Why is there water left in the bottom of my dishwasher?
A small amount in the sump is normal. Standing water above the filter usually means a blocked filter, a kinked drain hose, a blocked sink connection or a drain pump that has failed.
Why are my glasses coming out cloudy?
In Dubai it's usually hard-water scale: the salt has run out, the softener is set too low, or there's no rinse aid. If cleaning the filter and adjusting the softener doesn't help, the softener unit may need repair.
My Bosch dishwasher shows E15. What should I do?
E15 means water has collected in the base tray and the leak protection has shut the machine down. Switch it off at the wall and call us. We find and fix the leak, then dry the base so the float resets.
Can you repair fully integrated dishwashers?
Yes. We slide them out, repair them and refit them to your cabinets.
How long does a dishwasher repair take?
Most repairs take one visit of about an hour. If a part has to be ordered, we diagnose first and return to fit it.
